Thank You To Woodlands from Team Nick
After three successful Team Nick events it became evident that we needed to expand the fourth annual Golf Day & Cocktail Party to a venue that could not only cater for over 380 guests for our masquerade cocktail party but also accommodate 132 very eager golfers!!
Led by Club Manager, Richard Tullberg – we found the perfect venue in Woodlands Golf Club.
Richard along with all Woodlands staff have exceeded our expectations on every level. We are greatly appreciative of the support that you have provided and have given all who attended an experience we hope they will not forget. Your staffs can do attitude in accommodating our every request was a huge contributor to the success of the Event.
Although an exact figure for the this years day 16th November 2012, wont be known for a couple of weeks we expect the day to of raised in the vicinity of $100,000. This makes our vision even closer to a reality and could not be done without everyones support.
On behalf of the Nicholas Timms Foundation, a huge thank you to Woodlands Golf Club for helping us make our fourth year so successful and contributing so positively to our journey in Supporting Kids with Cancer.

“February 27th was the day of the TSWF Annual Golf Day, stage at the beautiful Woodlands Golf Club, in near perfect conditions. The day started with a putting competition that was won by Allco’s Justin Lewis. The over all day was won by the One 68 company that carded an incredible team score of 141 stableford points.
Thanks goes to out wonderful Golf Day supporters, Titleist, The Fosters Group and Emirates. Thanks also to Peter O’Malley who flew down especially for the day to help out the foundation and of course to the Woodlands Golf Club who had the course in magnificent condition.”

“I really enjoyed the course, every round. I like the tree lines and perfect shape of the fairways. Also the greens are great, slopey, fast and tricky to save par from the short side of the pin. Bunkers find the right spot on the fairways and around the greens. What made it even more difficult was the wind.
In total: Woodlands, a perfect layout golf course with awesome and tricky greens. The tree lines along the holes force you to hit your tee shot strategically to stay in game.

As you know these are events we hold on the finest golf courses and we are proud to include Woodlands in this mix. Everything on the day was exceptional – from the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food through to your outstanding golf course. I had forgotten how good Woodlands was and as I mentioned to our clients on the day a course does not have to be long to be testing. The fairways were immaculately conditioned and the greens rolled very truly. In fact I cant remember holing as many putts as I did on the day. If you hit the ball on line it goes in the hole!

Woodlands Golf Course hosted the inaugural FinancePath Charity Golf Day, supporting Cystic Fibrosis Victoria. Woodlands was the perfect choice for the 80 golfing enthusiasts whom were honoured to play on such a magnificent course. We would like to Thank Richard and the team for their exceptional service. The day was a huge success from start to finish, the support from Woodlands staff was second to none. We were able to raise in excess of $14,000 from the day, an amazing amount that will go a long way to helping families impacted by Cystic Fibrosis.
